Responsibilities
• Take orders at the sales counter and over the phone• Build relationships with customers• Use company computer system to enter orders• Complete sales orders and tender cash sales• Develop product knowledge to assist customers• Check in/out deliveries and company drivers• Perform general administrative work• Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers• Overcome objections of prospective customers• Emphasize product/service features and benefits
Requirements
• High school or equivalent education preferred• 1 year of sales experience preferred• Ability to stand/sit/walk/climb stairs• Ability to lift/carry light products and occasionally up to 25 lbs.• Might require occasional local travel in Southeastern Wisconsin• Building materials knowledge is desirable
