Security Administrator. This individual will be a member of the information security team supporting identity and access management strategies identified by the Chief Information Security Officer. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to: Within the Epic EHR system, assists with the development, management, and maintenance of standard security configurations, security classes and templates, security class ownership, profiles, blueprints, and provisioning of application security levels and roles. Perform daily systems EHR security administration functions, including managing customer access requests, creating, modifying and/or deleting user profiles and accounts, maintaining appropriate documentation, and monitoring and auditing access log files. Assists with Epic SER master file activities, establishing SER standards and processes. Administer user accounts and groups by adding, changing, and deleting user IDs/profiles/groups in accordance with the principle of least privilege as well as established approval procedures and enterprise security policies for network, server, and centrally managed applications. Manage entitlements and the identity lifecycle, e.g. onboarding, role change, and offboarding processes, in an enterprise healthcare environment. Ensure that provisioning, de-provisioning, and account management processes, procedures, and workflows are documented and maintained The University of Kentucky considers the health, safety and well-being of our entire community to be a top priority.
