IT Field Service Engineer

Location: Indiana

Full time, permanent

Salary $85,000 + overtime+ 15-25% bonus + excellent health plan
We are looking at Engineers at levels ie FSE I, FSE II, so salary will be depending on skills/technical level

We have partnered with an Innovative client within the Healthcare and Med-Tech Space onboard a proactive IT Field Service Engineer, to support Software & Hardware for their client base across the Indiana region.

About the Role
As an IT Field Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering top-tier service in PC (Windows), software, network, and hardware troubleshooting. The role involves extensive travel to medical centres and hospitals throughout Indiana and occasionally other states (California, Texas, Florida, New York etc).

Midweek overnight stays will be likely, and some weekend work during busy periods.

*Full expense framework; i.e. overtime payments, travel/fuel and per diem / food allowance

*This is a Field position will require up to 70%-80% travel.

Your Responsibilities
Install, support, and maintain their product range.
Conduct site surveys and provide on-site/reactive support.
Provide scheduled maintenance and upgrade assistance, available both remotely and on-site.
Carry out installations in accordance with company procedures.
Collaborate with customers and installers.
Technical Skills Required
Prior experience as a Technically qualified IT Field Engineering / IT Service Engineer
Strong hardware diagnostic skills, including PC hardware (replacing PC components)
Proficiency in Windows 10/7, O365, TCP IP Networking, and troubleshooting tools.
Solid customer service experience & "Can Do2 / results oriented attitude
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional team.
Experience of Installing Desktops / Desktop imaging
Previous experience with Installation, troubleshooting & resolving hardware issues
Experience of Storage – RAID / NAS
Understanding of Routers & Switches
Nice to have Previous experience with Medical Devices, Medical Imaging, Radiotherapy
