The Information Systems Specialist maintains data on multiple software applications. This includes student housing data such as applications, assignments, and billing, as well as student conduct data such as alleged violations, hearings, and sanctions. Tasks include but are not limited to data entry, creation of weekly and annual reports, reconciliation of financial transactions, file auditing, processing check-ins/check-outs, and managing waitlist and room reservation processes. The person in this position also supports Residence Life by offering administrative support to Associate and Assistant Directors and by providing excellent customer service to students, families, staff, and other departmental patrons.
Work Schedule:

Full time, 12 Months, M - F (Academic Year 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Summer 7:30 am - 4:00 pm)
Advertised Salary:

$47,000+/year
Minimum Qualifications:
2 years of college experience with 2 years of work experience in administrative and information system duties, or Bachelor's degree in related field with no/minimal experience
Good oral/written communication skills
Demonstrated experience with independent decision making
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in residence life or other higher education environment
Experience with Adirondack Solutions and/or Maxient Software
