Description Position Title: Information Spec I-UCOFN Position Overview: This position will be responsible for the operational day-to-day data entry into the Foundation's constituent database (RENXT). This position will interact with staff in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under time constraints while maintaining flexibility and efficiency. Professionalism and confidentiality are important in this role. Attention to detail is vital. This position will also be creating department specific data, create reports and/or communication for the department/division. Responsible for the quality and data integrity of information. Communicate any issues, problems, or additional information to leadership or project managers and recommend solutions. Reports directly to the Director of Advancement Services.
Department Specific Essential Job Functions: Formats, gathers, organizes, analyzes, and processes constituent updates and gift information within the BlackBaud Raisers Edge NXT database for the Advancement Office. Scanning, upload, and index documents to the appropriate OnBase files. Separation and sorting of soft copy donor files and documents. This also includes the coordination of historical data, as prioritized by the Director of Advancement. Identifies problems, recommends improvements, and maintains database integrity and security. Monitors and maintains data quality and implements and maintains quality control systems; investigates and resolves database problems. Performs research on individuals, foundations, and corporations regarding past, present, and potential relationships with the University; supervises appropriate entry into database. Supports and actively participates in structuring the goals of the department. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications/Experience Required: Requires a Bachelor's degree in job related field or 4+ years of equivalent work experience in chosen filed that provides knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. Requires the application of expertise in a chosen field to achieve results.
Qualifications/Experience Preferred: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. 3+ years of Blackbaud experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Highly organized, able to multi-task and track multiple projects. Heightened sense of initiative as a self-starter. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to establish effective relationships with both internal and external audiences. Superb customer service. Strong mathematical aptitude. Excellent time management and attention to detail. Strong analytical skills. Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, accounting and database systems experience - Raiser's Edge and OnBase preferred. Must maintain confidentiality with donor records and department discussions. Excellent proofing and editing skills. Must possess the willingness to seek and accept responsibility. Maintain a positive attitude and collaborative style that fosters workplace excellence and staff support. Willingness to occasionally perform evening and weekend work.
