(FIS) is seeking a full-time Information Management Specialist for immediate employment at MSTP to provide technical support and contribute to the improvement, implementation, and maintenance of information systems. The qualified candidate will manage user security access that include accounts, logins, access controls, email accounts, and other items connected to the information systems. The candidate also implements internal controls to achieve compliance for internal and external audits. Installs and configures hardware and software, and performs systems setup, daily backups, connectivity.The mission of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Staff Training Program (MSTP) is to provide training to MAGTF staff across the range of military operations, within the context of a Joint and/or Combined Task Force environment, to improve the warfighting skills, with the main effort of providing training in support.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop recommendations to store information and safeguard data flow to speed the commander's decision-cycle.Collaborate with adjacent and supporting organizations to integrate and employ C2 systems to reduce vulnerability to cyber security threats across networks.Develop assessments and recommendations to apply C2 System best practices from operationally deployed and garrison environments.Support the conduct of analysis and provide recommendations regarding the integration and employment of all Command and Control (C2) systems collaboration required to support operational and future planning, coordination, and execution in support of the MAGTFHelp assess and develop a method for data transfer, storage, and information dissemination that complies with local and enterprise-level IM/KM policies for stakeholdersQualificationsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Qualifications)Must be a U.S. CitizenMust have a Secret security clearanceIAT Level II - CCNA-SecurityC2PC software experience for instruction and tracking within an exercise control environmentCoordination with External Agency IKMO personnel for chat and collaboration environments.Combat Operations Center (COC) IM/KM development.Understanding working group workflow in the development of IKMO planning documents and publications.Operational military experience in IM/KM for GO level staff.Understanding of how to use C2 systems to execute an Information Management Plan (IMP) to support command decision-making, develop an IMP, develop an Annex U, and integrate IM into the MCPP and current operations.Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Qualifications)7+ Years Direct Relevant ExperienceProficiency using MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook skills.Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.Additional InformationPhysical Requirements and Work EnvironmentNormal Office EnvironmentTravelN/ADisclaimerThe above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
