Infection Preventionist RN - Registered Nurse
We are looking for an Infection Preventionist RN - Registered Nurse .
Infection Preventionist RN - Registered Nurse Qualifications:
Current MA RN - Registered Nurse License.
Prior experience as a supervisor/manager in a Skilled Nursing Facility required.
Must have Nursing Home Infection Preventionist Traning Course- CDC Train - an affiliate of the TRAIN Learning Network powered by the Public Health Foundation.
Critical thinking skills
Expertise in DPH regulation, along with excellent communication skills.
Current BLS certification.
Infection Preventionist RN - Registered Nurse Job Summary:
Develops, implements and evaluates the Lourdes Noreen McKeen infection prevention program.
Develops an annual surveillanceplan based on the population served, services provided, and analysis of surveillance data.
Creates periodic written and oral reports/recommendations to the Director of Nursing.
Provides leadership, supervision and educational principles on infection prevention and control for staff.
Arranges opportunities for meaningful education programs and staff trainings during the year.
Compiles necessary reports for DPH and other regulatory agencies as required.
Direct care and rounding for Residents as necessary.
