Responsibilities
• Maintain plant facility, grounds, structure, and related equipment• Follow standard operating and safety procedures• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance procedures• Maintain and repair powered and non-powered rolling equipment• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of small equipment• Troubleshoot and install electrical equipment and machinery• Troubleshoot and repair simple hydraulic systems• Possess practical knowledge of pneumatic systems• Perform maintenance welding• Install or repair copper or steel pipe• Possess knowledge of refrigeration and related equipment• Observe all GMPs, HAACPs, good housekeeping, and safety rules & regulations
Requirements
• High School diploma or GED equivalent• Industrial Maintenance certification is preferred• Industrial Maintenance job experience is required• Prior job experience in food production is a plus• Must be able to work 3rd shift (11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.)• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Key Skills Needed
• Electrical troubleshooting and installation• Knowledge of motors, controls, and PLC• Hydraulic system troubleshooting and repair• Pneumatic system knowledge• Maintenance welding (TIG)• Plumbing and pipe fitting• Refrigeration knowledge
