Industrial Engineer

My client is a premier manufacturer of high-quality industrial paints and coatings. They're on the hunt for an experienced Industrial Engineer for an immediate hiring need.
Job Description:
Industrial Engineer designs equipment or machine layout to coordinate activities and production planning to ensure products meet quality standards while minimizing production problems and cost.  Develops and maintains manufacturing routes for maximizing space, efficiency, and effectiveness. The Industrial Engineer ensures compliance with industry safety and design standards and guidelines.
Responsibilities: Utilize the latest software and automation devices and equipment to develop creative solutions to support operational needs.
Utilize schematics, drawings, wiring diagrams and instruction manuals to install and repair electrical and electronic control systems. Utilize VOM, ammeter and oscilloscope and other engineering tools to troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment, controls, and automation. Commission and fine tune control systems, working individually or as a member of a team. Examine needs on new equipment, calculate costs and help prepare budgets. Skills: Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering. Minimum 5 years of related experience Excellent negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with ERP systems. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
