Responsibilities
• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)• Plan and prepare meals• Assist with physical therapy exercises• Complete client's shopping or accompany them• Perform housekeeping duties• Report any unusual incidents and act responsibly in emergencies• Offer essential daily living activities, including serving meals• Assist patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks
Requirements
• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and eager to improve skills• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation• Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care• Willingness to work different shifts, including nights and weekends• Supportive and compassionate• High School Diploma or equivalent• Hoyer Lift Experience
