We are looking for a Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative from the freight forwarding industry to join our expanding team. This CSR will provide exceptional customer service support to clients to build and strengthen relationships. We're a large, yet tightknit, logistics company with lots of opportunity for growth in a fast-paced environment. This is our newest office, so we're looking for a go-getter to join us at this pivotal time!
Duties/Responsibilities
- Process and manage client Purchase Orders and documentation related to customs clearance
- Communicate clearly and effectively with origin teams, SSL, Airlines and customers providing full shipping details, pricing, tracking and tracing and updates on any delays
- Confirm all details on purchase orders with suppliers and clients to ensure accuracy in time of shipping as well as quantities to be shipped or reason for delay
- Coordinate with Customs Broker Division to ensure timely entry is done and Delivery Orders are out in time
- Follow up on destination to ensure all releases are in order to expedite delivery of cargo with no delay
- Perform all relevant milestone updates in the system allowing us to close and invoice the file on time with no delays
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of freight forwarding experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
- Bilingual Mandarin and/or Spanish preferred
- Strong knowledge of import/export regulations related to ocean and air transportation
