Summary:  
The Implementation Specialist will  be responsible for implementation, configuration, training, and re-engineering of file specifications to support the electronic medical records from covered entities. In partnership with team members and in line with the project plan, th is role will interact directly with the covered entities to configure, test, train and impl ement the covered entities required file uploads .

Essential Functions:  
Participate as a key member of the core quality control team charged with successfully implementing and supporting file creation for a covered entity by becoming a subject matter expert in the functionality of the electronic practice management and electronic medical records implementation.  Work with EMR/EHR vendors to obtain information needed for the building of mutual client reports that are used to monitor?enterprise exposure for patient demographic information maintaining HIPAA/PII compliance  Directly support Implementation Managers during Initial Covered Entity Kick-off Calls providing immediate guidance on the following?pertinent information  Provide sales support for prospective customers as it relates to EMR/HER vendors, PE, & PR files  Write policy and procedures based on File Specifications for e-scripts/PE3/PE4/HL7 ICD or HL7 Non-ICD.?Child site and hierarchy checks?to ensure all data is being received from all Active Sites to provide?maximum?savings?  Validate and verify accurate Provider and Patient Files in accordance with the most current file specifications. Support and guide CEs during any file transfers.  Provide an entire KPI Analysis with Covered Entity to ensure full data has been received and patient encounters match HRSA sites provided and are matching with HRSA standards.  Serve as main point of contact and application subject matter expert for the covered entity IT POC during the implementation process and post implementation process; on site go-live support and post implementation phase, including optimization.  Prepare recommendations and/or alternatives that address existing and potential areas of improvements with detailed documentation recording all implementation decisions and configuration approach.  Participate in the planning, design, development and deployment of new application modules and enhancements to existing applications.  Utilize the tracking software provided to adequately document statuses and issues.  Follow established escalation and notification procedures.  Provide regular status updates to management for all assigned tasks. Up to 25% travel. Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS  
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  
General knowledge of and familiarity with rules and regulations within the healthcare industry, specifically relating to PBM, 340B and managed care. Knowledge of the audit function and best practices.  Advanced skills in Microsoft Office with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.  Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, communicative, and can work independently as well as part of a team. Must have strong written, verbal, and training presentation skills and demonstrate a professional demeanor. Must have experience in dealing with internal and external clients with a strong ability to develop relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.  Must have the ability to research, analyze, audit and apply information to internal practices and standards.  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Respond to common inquires or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.  Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.  Demonstrate proven ability to quickly grasp new technology. Must be able to learn the functionality of our products and services in a short time frame.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated change management experience. Strong business and technical writing abilities and possess effective communication skills, especially verbal communication phone skills, with the ability to interact with various levels of personnel. Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot and provide client training over the phone, email or internet.  Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision, have exceptional attention to detail and perform consistent work product validation/QA.  Self-motivated, self-directed, team oriented, responsible, and reliable, with a positive attitude and a proactive style. Must possess the ability to operate in a highly variable work environment.  To work independently, organize work effectively and take initiative in fast-paced work environment while managing multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously.  Ability to shift priorities quickly and ability to quickly acquire and apply knowledge.  Present a courteous and competent demeanor to our clients and teammates.  Extremely proficient in PC based software programs including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Notepad++, Adobe to include Adobe Configure  Experience with issue resolution and/or issue tracking software preferred. Prior experience with implementing, configuring and supporting software applications highly preferred.  Ability to train adult learners effectively.  Familiarity with the healthcare administration industry required, EMR/EHR systems preferred.  Education:  
Associates degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Management, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or other healthcare related field required. Experience:  
Minimum of one to three (1-3) years of compliance or related work experience preferably in a healthcare, managed care or PBM industry required.  Salesforce experience preferred.  Licenses/Certifications:  
Prior certifications or experience with any EMR systems is a plus.
