Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 30% This position works with New Business and Inforce policy administration and maintenance. Tasks include, evaluating requests, documentation and/or system input to create complete, accurate and legally defensible individual insurance contracts. 25% Collaborate with IDI Underwriters and other support staff to ensure appropriate risk management. Prepare and deliver policy change quotes. 25% Respond to telephone and email inquiries and process change requests from individual disability and ported life insurance policy owners, agents and representatives of policy owners and vendor requests. 20% Prepare correspondence, calculations, and monitor the status of requests as appropriate to ensure timely response and customer satisfaction. Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Has good organization skills, time management, attention to detail and critical thinking skills. Must have strong written and oral communication skills and be able to perform basic math. Continually building upon business and product knowledge. Seeks information to understand rationale and importance of change. Completes assigned tasks and responsibilities, providing information to others in a timely manner. Demonstrates attention to detail and listens to others, being considerate of others' opinions. Follows standard procedures for solving the most basic problems, escalating all non-routine problems to a more experienced colleague or supervisor. Completes steps necessary to meet work goals in a timely manner. Fosters strong working relationships with teammates and internal customers. Achieves & maintains team productivity and accuracy goals. Evaluates and communicates policy information in a clear manner. In the scope of the role, it provides factual, technical, or policy related information with high sensitivity and discretion. Foster strong working partnerships with own teammates, Underwriting, Producers, Agencies and Sales. Job Specifications: Required education: High school diploma. 1-2 years secondary education and/or equivalent experience. Required professional licensure or certification: None Location: Employees in this role are eligible for fully remote work (other than periodic in-person meetings or other periodic business travel). Travel Requirements: Occasional travel only (such as for planning purposes, team-building, or conferences) may be required. Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year. Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance. Salary Range: 21.51 - 28.73 Positions will be posted for at least 5 days from original posting date.
