**Job Responsibilities** + Conduct inspections for EIFS, Wood, and/or Fire Penetration & Joints. Write detailed filed reports meeting all Technical Guidelines and Building Code Requirements. + Work closely with building department officials, architects, contractors, engineers, and various other professionals involved in the construction or maintenance of the structure. + Prepare detailed reports summarizing the findings from inspections and tests. Clearly document all conditions/observations/test results obtained during inspection in approved reporting format. Utilize remote software for data entry and report generation and submission. All necessary information shall be included within concise and compliant reports, to include designation of all non-compliant items and/or discrepancies observed. Other duties as assigned by your supervisor. + Verify and document that construction meets all applicable locally adopted international and uniform building codes as well as local code amendments, industry standards, and manufacturers specifications. Building inspectors must possess an in-depth understanding of building codes/standards and will be expected to confirm field conditions are consistent with approved construction documents, applicable standards/specifications, and code compliant **Required Qualifications** + ICC Commercial Building certification + Experience with EIFS, Wood, and/or Fire Penetration & Joint inspections + Valid Nevada driver's license + Excellent oral and written communication skills and excellent client relations skills + Attention to detail + Positive attitude + High level of effort + Manage time efficiently **Preferred Qualifications** + Clark County Building Department Approved listing for EIFS, Wood, and/or Fire Penetration & Joint inspections **Team:** Construction Services Department **Work Type:** Full-Time **Location Type:** onsite
