Hydro Operator

Job Responsibilities (additional responsibilities may be assigned by Head of The Department)  Knowledge of the machinery to operate as efficiently as possible.  Knowledge of SAP and the ability to make entries.  Attentive to all testing charts to make sure that all pipes are recorded properly and saved when testing is complete.  Perform all tasks as required by our training methods.  Ensure safety of all employees working around the area and report any near miss, safety incidences and potential hazards to a supervisor.  Knowledge of the proper alignment of pumps for effective testing.  Knowledge of gauge pressures to make sure that each pipe is in compliance with the customer specification.  Ability to change the recipe and set up for different pipe sizes without any assistance. Skills required  Ability to multi-task.  Mechanically inclined to perform any maintenance on the machine that is required for maximum production.  Ability to run control panels and v-roll lines.  Good communication with co-workers and other departments.  Knowledge of the work flow of the shop.  Understanding of how the machine and the pumps operate. Bilingual. Education & Experience:  General Laborer Exp. Physical Requirements:  Long hours standing. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Exposure to heat. Constantly moving. Work in tight spaces. Crawl.
