Peak Mechanical is a locally owned service based HVAC company that specializes in trouble shooting, servicing, and replacing a variety of Heating, Cooling, and Hot Water Systems for Apartment and Commercial Buildings. We work on everything from Hot Water and Steam Heating Systems in 100 year old buildings to Roof Top Chiller Systems on multi-story office buildings. · Hourly Pay Range Paid Weekly $35 - $42 per hour. Based on experience

Technical Skills
Manage and perform the maintenance, repair, and installation of air conditioning, heating and refrigeration equipment
Direct and assist HVAC technicians in the diagnosis and repair of malfunctions in various types of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, order and replace parts
Make adjustments to HVAC equipment through the use of computer assisted controls
Repair, replace, and/or calibrate controls
Design, procure pricing, and install new air conditioning systems or refrigeration components, including piping and air ducts
Conduct energy conservation surveys periodically to determine equipment and procedures necessary to realize the most efficient, cost-effective use of HVAC energy
Operate equipment and tools following established safety procedures, perform preventive maintenance and repairs
Supervisory / Lead Responsibilities
Completes the Layout and oversight of commercial HVAC projects
Performs field installation alongside crew
Lead small crews of commercial installers specific to each job
Manage the procurement of materials from plans, and strategize to make sure materials are available in advance to the start of the project
Track and report on the daily progress specific to each job
Crew scheduling, and organizing the crew on the job each day
Sets project goals for crews to meet the installation schedule
Completes field measure, and submit paperwork for necessary shop fabrication
Communicates with project manager and Estimator on an ongoing basis regarding job specifics
Reports to project manager or estimator
Ability to estimate projects
Help to train crew members upon opportunities for continued growth
Work overtime as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMAND/ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS: Frequent district-wide travel. Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching, moderate lifting and carrying. Ability to operate hand and power tools, and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Work outdoors and indoors, exposure to extreme temperatures. Work around equipment with moving parts, exposure to electrical hazards. Ability to operate computer to control HVAC equipment. Be on-call twenty four hours per day. Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Valid Colorado Driver's License
Ability to Read and Interpret Construction Prints
Proficient in sheet metal & minimum 6 years' experience installing HVAC systems.
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the HVAC field. This includes that of ventilation, air-conditioning, heating, and environmental control systems.
Experience in leading other individuals in the workplace
Demonstrate Willingness to Accept Responsibility and Leadership Roles
