Hvac/R Technician

Job summary
Immediate opening for HVAC/R technicians with a MA License5+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, and/or municipal settingsExperience in HVAC controls type projects is highly desirable
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Perform HVAC work in commercial, industrial, and government facilities• Install building automation systems, variable frequency drives, lighting fixtures, and controls• Perform general commercial and industrial power wiring work• Implement and service a wide variety of HVAC/R projects• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections• Work in a team-oriented environment with sales people, engineers, and project managers• Collaborate with electrical division for HVAC/R-related projects
Requirements
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a journeyman• Experience servicing RTUs, split-systems, and exhaust fans• Experience servicing walk-in and reach-in coolers/freezers preferred• Thorough understanding of the refrigeration cycle and related components• Thorough understanding of basic HVAC/R controls and ability to read electrical schematics• Punctual and reliable• Interested in learning new things and eager to face a challenge• Excellent customer interaction and communication skills• Valid Driver's License• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, including 4-panel drug screen
Key Skills Needed
• MA License• Experience in HVAC controls type projects• EPA 608 Certification• Mass. Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker license• Mass. Journeyman Refrigeration Technician license• OSHA 10 certification
