PRIMARY FUNCTIONThe Project Manager (PM) position is a key role in the construction management of our commercial division, and a critical role in the success of each project. Our Plumbing and Mechanical Operations is expanding in Las Vegas, in particular in the Sports & Hospitality spaces. This is a great time to join a high performing company and contribute to the rapid growth in the Las Vegas valley.The Project Manager is primarily responsible for supervising and coordinating the project to complete the work safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Our project managers provide leadership to the project team and direct the success of the overall project from initial estimating through completion while ensuring adherence to company procedures. As a PM, you will have the opportunity to work alongside best-in-industry construction executives and field leaders. This role facilitates the planning and coordination of activities of assigned project to ensure that goals and objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.The PM role requires travel to job sites on a temporary or permanent basis dependent upon project team needs.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop goals and strategies in concert with executive management team and implement with your construction teams.Establish project objectives and strategies, policies, procedures and performance standards with executive management.Set up a workable schedule for job cost control, labor, material, equipment and subcontractors.Set up a pre-planning meeting with field superintendent, estimators, purchasing, engineer, foreman, and detailing.Work with Purchasing on all equipment and material buyout.Work with Project Team to ensure job drawings and change orders are up to date.Manage financial aspects of the contract. These include but are not limited to: financial forecasting, manpower forecasting, job cost tracking, preparing monthly billings, etc.Meet or exceed gross profit goals stated in project budget.Establish and maintain relationships with clients in an effort to get additional work and build a repeat customer base while maintaining the reputation of our company.Prepare a monthly billing for General Contractor or Owner.Represent company in project meetings, assist in labor negotiations/strategy meetings, etc.Meet weekly with field staff to review project.Document pending problems and advise management.Maintain targeted safety incident rate.Assume additional responsibilities as directed by corporate management.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or 4 years of equivalent plumbing and/or mechanical work experience.Excellent computer literacy/proficiency, including MS Office products and Bluebeam.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSProlonged periods of sitting at a desk.Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.Must be able to climb ladders, access and egress trenches and/or attic spaces and/or confined spaces.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFuel cardHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceCompensation package:Employee stock ownership planYearly bonusExperience level:* 4 yearsSchedule:* Monday to FridayEducation:* Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:* Plumbing/HVAC Project Management: 4 years (Preferred)Work Location: In personAll qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.GPAC (Growing People and Companies) is an award-winning search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States since 1990.
