Responsibilities
• Installing and retrofitting HVAC equipment• Meeting company standard of workmanship• Working independently• Measuring ductwork and installing equipment• Completing low voltage connections• Brazing and testing line sets• Charging condensers and heat pumps• Removing equipment unassisted• Installing gas piping• Thinking ahead and being prepared for future work
Requirements
• Must have all hand tools required• Proficient in installing round and rectangular duct• Ability to move quickly, safely, and efficiently• Basic understanding of sheet metal fittings• Ability to complete simple low voltage connections• Knowledge of PVC venting and equivalent length calculations• Able to charge condensers and heat pumps• Able to remove equipment unassisted• Experience installing gas piping• Ability to work independently
