Job Description: As an HVAC Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing replacement heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, and water heaters for residential projects. You will work closely with our installation manager to ensure that all systems are installed correctly, safely, and efficiently, meeting the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities: Install HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, water heaters, boilers, and ductwork, according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
Follow blueprints, technical diagrams, and installation manuals to ensure precise installation.
Connect electrical wiring and controls for HVAC systems.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
Inspect and test installed systems to verify proper operation.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment at job sites.
Complete all required documentation, including installation reports and customer records.
Requirements Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification in HVAC installation is preferred.
Proven experience as an HVAC Installation Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation procedures, and components.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license and a stellar driving record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
EPA 608 Certification is required.
