Summary/Objective
The role holder is responsible for assisting in performing installs, repairs, and maintenance to a variety of HVAC and appliance equipment.
We Offer: Great pay based on experience; our top guys earn $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, 25 to 30 hours a week. Key Duties: Assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customers. Assist with the diagnosis and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems. Travel with Technician to job sites and work with Technician to ensure job is done on time. Be available to work nights or weekends. Document all installed equipment upon arrival: make model, serial number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary. Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate the system to manufacturer's recommendations, and explain fully to the customer what the issue is and what is the need to correct. Key Skills: Experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and correcting diverse HVAC service issues. Good analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals. Excellent customer service skills with a desire to exceed customer expectations. Ability to work with Technician and independently in a timely manner, making sure the job is done correctly the first time. Expectations: Well-groomed, neat appearance. Observe all company procedures and safety rules. Maintain accurate timesheet. Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications: Work within industry standards of accuracy. Must read, write, and speak fluent English. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Valid social security number. Must pass a background check and drug test. EPA Certification is required. OSHA 10 certification, is preferred but not required. Physical/Work Environment Requirements: Be able to bend/stoop, squat/crouch, climb, kneel and twist. Must be able to climb ladders, work both inside and outside, and around moving equipment safely. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights, work in small crawl spaces. If you have 2 years' experience in service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and correcting diverse HVAC service issues and are able to work independently or as a team in a timely manner, making sure the job is done correctly the first time, we would love to hear from you!
