Do you bring 4+ years of HVAC Estimator experience? If so, I want to hear from you! HVAC Estimator - Essential Job Functions Include: Prepare comprehensive, competitive labor and materials estimates for mechanical HVAC projects Ability to recognize cost-saving opportunities and provide alternative options, when needed Understand and create estimates from blueprints, specifications, proposals, and related documents Improve job costs through negotiation with vendors and subcontractors Provide technical and/or estimating support during project design and proposal phases Perform on-site data collection to improve the accuracy of all estimates Work well with customers, presenting final proposals in a professional manner Establish and maintain relationships with contractors Qualifications: 3+ years of HVAC Estimator experience Must work well in a team environment Ability to understand blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other estimation-related documentation Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook Experience with On-Screen Takeoff a plus Associates or Bachelor's Degree in a construction-related field a plus Time management, verbal and written communication skills are a must
