My client is looking for an accomplished Mechanical HVAC Project Manager to join their growing team. This company has deep ties to the local community which leads to a tremendous volume of repeat business and continuous company growth.The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering mechanical projects from initial survey and design through completion. The position requires demonstrated experience with project management, strong leadership, and collaborative skills. The Mechanical Project Manager must be proficient in estimating, quotes, design, and field supervision of Mechanical, HVAC, Pipefitting, Plumbing, Sheet Metal, and Automation Controls projects.This is a tremendous opportunity to work in a team-driven environment for a world class company alongside some of the best in the business!Essential Functions of the Mechanical HVAC Project Manager:Primary responsibilities will include the management and creation of mechanical projects from the initial survey and design stage through completion and billing.Calculating material and labor costs and accurately preparing bids and quotes in order to meet customers specifications under budget.Review job estimates and prepare budgets.Estimate and negotiate change orders.Maintain communication with customers, subcontractors, warehouse personnel, and management, to effectively plan and coordinate project work schedules.Maintain working knowledge of general conditions, scope of work, and specifications of all ongoing projects.Forecast, track, and report labor hours and material costs.Expedite and track delivery of major equipment and materials.Supervise trades and mechanical technicians on the job sites.Provide proactive, timely, and clear communication to team members.Ensure full compliance with company safety police at the jobsites.Requirements:Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated project management and estimating experience.Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Management, or related field preferred.Extensive knowledge of mechanical, HVAC, pipefitting, plumbing, sheet metal, and automation controls.Ability to improve existing systems/procedures and presenting new ideas and approaches to complex problems.Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver projects on time and under budget.Ability to prioritize goals and achieve results within defined deadlines.Ability to communicate effectively to all organizational levels in writing and verbally.This position offers a fantastic compensation and benefits package along with tremendous opportunity for career growth.
