InflexionPoint is looking for a
Human Resource (HR) Specialist
.
As the Human Resources Specialist, you will be responsible for all administrative aspects of the Human Resource function including, benefits administration, creating offer letters, running reports from our HRIS, administering exit interviews, completing, bi-weekly payroll processing, including Paid Time Off PTO), 401K processing and compensation administration. The HR Specialist is a full-time, salaried, exempt position, reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources.
Requirements
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Payroll
- Manage end-to-end bi-weekly, multi-state payroll processing using Paylocity for all InflexionPoint employees (both exempt and non-exempt). Importing, proofing, editing, processing, and transmitting all payroll wages, deductions, reimbursements, bonuses, commissions, and manual payments consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws
- Maintaining up-to-date employee demographic and payroll information, including Paid Time Off (PTO) usage, 401K contributions, accruals, and balances
- Ensure hours and earnings are balanced and imported into the payroll system.
- Collaborate with operations team to balance final payroll results
- Calculate adjustments for back pay, adjust pay for new hires or terminated employees, pro-rate pay accordingly
HR Administration
- Develop an electronic employee file in Paylocity and maintain accurate and up -to-date personnel records
- Coordinate all exit interviews and provide insights on the data
- Provide coordination support on all HR programs and processes including, employee engagement surveys, compensation reviews, and performance reviews.
- Respond to employee questions and provide support with workplace related issues as required
- Create ad hoc reports and manipulate data to report on key HR metrics
- Prepare and submit annual EEO-1 report
- Assist with Workers Comp claims and processing, including preparation of OSHA 300 logs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date labor Law Posters in designated areas as required Benefits
- Responsible for processing new hire benefit enrollments, QLEs changes, QMCSOs, terminations and assisting in the annual Open Enrollment.
- Administer and support employee inquiries and policy options
- Review benefit carrier invoices monthly to ensure accuracy
Onboarding and Immigration
- Create offer letters and conduct all pre-employment screening
- Onboard new employees and make them feel immediately welcome.
- Manage employment-related requirements for work visas (e.g., H1B) and PERM immigration including job postings and immigration attorney coordination
- Monitor onboarding processes in Paylocity to ensure proper completion of new hire documents
Skills and Qualifications
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Expert with Excel, including pivot tables and formulas
- Experience using MS Teams and SharePoint as collaboration tools
- Experience using ADP Workforce Now and Paylocity
- Experience with various benefit portal administration
- Ability to manage multiple and often competing assignments
Education, Certifications and/or Experience
- Associates or Bachelors in Human Resources Management or a related field of study
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in HR
- Minimum 2 years' payroll experience required
Working Environment
This position is on site at InflexionPoint's headquarters located in Neptune, NJ. Occasional remote work is permitted when appropriate.
Physical Demands
Must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time consistent with the average workday; to operate a computer and other office equipment, including but not limited to computer, printer, etc.
