Human Resources Services Supervisor Location Hybrid remote in Collegedale, TN : Best known for Little Debbie® snack cakes, America's leading snack cake brand, Sunbelt Bakery® granola products and Drakes Cakes®, McKee Foods is seeking an HR Services Supervisor to join our Corporate Human Resources Information System (HRIS) . Pay Salaried grade 8 $76,400 - $87,200 / year, depending on qualifications and experience
This position is part of a career ladder through salary grade 10.
The base salary range represents the starting and expected pay for this position. Actual salaries may vary and in some cases may be higher with extensive experience and strong performance.
Schedule Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (other hours or days as needed) This is an on-site position with some hybrid-remote work available, depending on level of experience and business need. Job Summary Manages an HR Services team and ensure a positive work environment by modeling and coaching on excellent customer service/departmental tasks Manage the daily workload of the HR Services team to ensure required service and quality levels are attained Serves as backup to the processing of leaves, terminations, and adjustments transactions Serves as a second-level point-of-contact to resolve escalated items Develops and maintains standard operating procedures (SOPs) with internal controls Identify, recommend, and implement process improvement opportunities within the department Planning and defining team performance goals to set high performance measures with clear objectives and promote team professional growth Support the staff on the following staffing processes: including assessments, processing hires, completing I-9, background checks, change job, compensation changes, employee information, evaluations, next review dates, verification of employment Support payroll by reconciling time cards by ensuring correct time punches and absence codes on a weekly basis to ensure proper pay Support interpretation and application of corporate policy as it relates to the functions supported by HR Services Performs daily operational work in HRIS systems including but not limited to: Workday (several modules), Kronos, policy manuals, and ticketing system Some project work related to process improvements in the Shared Services area and the overall HR function Occasional travel as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience (2 years' experience = 1 year education) At least one year supervisory experience or three years' experience in a high-impact, individual contributor role At least three years' experience in Human Resources Experience in Workday or equivalent HRIS Preferred Qualifications 5+ years' experience in Human Resources 5+ years' experience in Workday HCM Knowledge of McKee policies and employment lifecycle HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) Proven ability in process improvement and/or MOS training Benefits Competitive pay scale 401(k) with matching contributions Health insurance, including prescription drug plan Onsite clinic and pharmacy Dental insurance Vision care plan Life insurance Paid time off (for vacation, holidays, sick time, personal time, etc.) Direct deposit payroll Credit Union Shift differential pay Exercise and recreation facility Profit-sharing program Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance (Premiums Paid by the Company) Please upload your current resume to be fully considered for this position.
