Human Resources Manager - Carrollton, TX  Position Overview IntraCare is seeking a Human Resources Manager to provide high quality HR support for our corporate office and clinic locations in the DFW metroplex and Phoenix metro area. The HR duties for the Manager role include organizational development, training, performance management, aiding recruitment efforts, and supporting policy interpretation and administration. This role collaborates with a variety of departments to influence decision making and to contribute significantly to their team's and the company's success.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Manages and oversees the HR staff to ensure effectiveness; provides timely and appropriate solutions to issues for IntraCare and its provider clinics. Provides performance coaching, feedback, and assists employees in goal setting. Supports IntraCare leadership in managing overall office logistics, including coordination of communication with the management team, IntraCare clinics, and back-office staff as it relates to weather and other emergency related events, when office closures or local events warrant it Collaborates as part of the IntraCare team when working on strategic and change management activities. Develops and maintains positive client relationships (internal and external). Works well with limited supervision, to investigate and resolve employee complaints. Demonstrates a high level of discretion and handles confidential information sensitively. Works closely with managers on employee relations issues, including the progressive disciplinary process and/or termination, and organizational and compliance issues. Serves as project lead for occasional departmental processes/projects relating to Human Resources policies and procedures. Develops and delivers training to employees to develop new skills, enhance existing skills and prepare for advancement; conducts training needs assessments with managers. Ensures legal and regulatory compliance in reporting and documentation for all recruitment, interviewing, hiring, disciplinary and termination practices. Works with hiring managers and finance to ensure proper compensation and identify and resolve salary, pay grade, or status issues. Conducts exit interviews, identifying reasons for employee turnover, and reports trends regularly to the HR Director and IntraCare leadership team. Administers the full cycle of leaves of absences, including disability leaves, parental leaves, personal leaves, and family care. Provides input for annual staffing budget. Travels to clinic site locations to perform various Human Resource functions. Education Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a related field such as Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Business Administration. Master's degree is a plus. Experience A minimum of 5 years' experience in human resources or related field, within a healthcare setting. Management experience required. Multisite experience. Experience in Texas and Arizona preferred. Special Knowledge Current knowledge and understanding of federal and state laws and regulations. Current knowledge of best practices for Human Resources, including both local and federal leave of absence laws. Relevant HR certifications (PHR or SHRM -CP) are a plus.
