SALARY RANGE $80,000 - $95,000 annually (DOE)
SUMMARY HUSTLER Hollywood is looking for a dynamic Human Resources Generalist to support our retail team. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources for the Retail Division and works out of our Retail Corporate Office in Torrance, CA. The Human Resources Generalist will handle tasks within the Human Resources department with responsibilities in, Leave of Absence administration, HRIS administration, onboarding/offboarding, HR ticket management (using Zendesk), assisting with employee relations and investigations, and general HR administration including special projects.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times. Duties and Responsibilities: Leave Administration Management: Handling the entire leave process from notification to return. HR Metrics Compilation: Gathering and analyzing HR data from various sources. Employee Inquiries Handling: Addressing inquiries from applicants, employees, and leaders. Employee Relations Support: Assisting in resolving complex employee relations issues and conducting investigations. Onboarding and Offboarding Support: Assisting in pre-employment, onboarding, and offboarding processes. Record Keeping: Maintaining employee records in compliance with legal requirements. ADP System Management: Leading ADP system operations and ensuring accuracy. HRIS Management: Processing new hires, terminations, and other status changes in the HRIS system. Knowledge Maintenance: Staying updated on HR trends, best practices, and legal changes. Required Skills/Abilities: At least 5 years experience in Human Resources Employee Relations Experience: Minimum one year of experience in resolving complex employee relations issues. Leave Management Experience: Minimum two years of experience managing leaves nationally. ADP Workforce Proficiency: Minimum two years of experience with ADP Workforce. Experience working within a Human Resources team for a multi-regional or national team. Well-developed administrative skills as well as superior oral and written communication skills Superior interpersonal abilities, conflict resolution and negotiation skills, ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, flexible. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary. Ability to act with integrity and maintain confidentiality. Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work in the Torrance office 100% of the time.
