Summary: 
The HR Generalist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate administration of HRIS, payroll, and benefits functions within the organization. This role involves managing HR data, processing payroll, and overseeing employee benefits programs to support the overall HR operations. The role will also involve other generalist work, including support of recruiting efforts. The Generalist will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to maintain compliance, enhance data integrity, and provide exceptional support to employees.
Primary Responsibilities: 
Process and manage all aspects of the payroll cycle, including data input, calculations, and distribution of payroll checks or electronic transfers. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to payroll taxes and deductions. Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, 401K, and other benefits. Assist employees with benefits enrollment, offboarding, changes, and claims processing. Collaborate with benefits providers to ensure effective plan communication and compliance. Maintain and update the HRIS database, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security. Provide support in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of HRIS software and tools. Generate reports and analyze HR data to support decision-making processes. Stay updated on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations related to HRIS, payroll, and benefits. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with data privacy laws. Prepare and submit required reports, such as EEO-1, ACA, and others as necessary. Serve as a primary point of contact for employees' HRIS, payroll, and benefits-related questions and concerns. Provide guidance and education to employees on HR policies, procedures, and benefits options. Continuously review and improve HRIS, payroll, and benefits processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and streamline workflows. Assist with the recruiting process including but not limited to, posting jobs, screening resumes, attending job fairs, performing phone screens, setting up onsite interviews, giving tours, and preparing offer letters. Build relationships with employees to enhance their job satisfaction and increase employee retention. Data entry of new hires and updating employee information in HRIS. Other duties as assigned. Requirements 4+ years of experience in Human Resources. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). Proven experience in HRIS administration, payroll processing, and benefits management. Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations. Proficiency in HRIS software and Google Suite. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Preferred Experience, But Not Necessary:
Working knowledge of Apple technology. Familiarity with Google products (Drive, Gmail, Docs, and Sheets).
