Overview and Essential Functions
THIS POSITION REQUIRES TRAVEL Prince Telecom is an established national telecommunications customer service fulfillment company that specializes in residential and commercial installation, as well as repair and construction services. We are currently looking for a seasoned HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. The HR Generalist is responsible for HR related business needs throughout its assigned region including, but not limited to, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, records management, training, policy implementation, and employment law compliance.What you'll do:+ Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel at a specific location.
+ Will assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures when required.
+ Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems at the local branch level.
+ Monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
+ Partners with recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees at the field level
+ Conduct new employee orientations.
+ Assists with Benefit meetings, enrollments, etc.
+ Assists with employee relations.
+ Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as required.
+ Assists with various administrative tasks associated with applicable division.
+ Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals; recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
+ Coordinates all efforts with Corporate HR team to ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
+ Travel to office locations to provide HR support where and when needed.
Qualifications
Who we are looking for:+ You are at least 18 years old
+ You are authorized to work in the United States for this company.
+ You have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline (preferred)
+ You have 2+ years' experience in HR.
+ You are experienced in HR policies and procedures.
+ You have strong knowledge of hiring processes.
+ You have a strong understanding of HR best practices and current regulations.
+ You are able to demonstrate sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
+ You have a customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion.
+ You are proficient with MS Office suite and other HR related applications.
+ You have excellent communication skills.
+ You are willing to travel
