Reports to – Executive Director
Located on a large, breath-taking private ranch on the outskirts of beautiful Cedar City, Discovery Ranch South ls is a licensed, accredited residential treatment center for for adolescent females struggling with emotional, behavioral, and substance use disorders. Discovery Ranch South combines the power of traditional and experiential therapies to help young women and their families heal. Healthy relationships, novel and challenging experiences, and a strengths-based approach are how we foster lasting change.

Essential Functions As our HR Director, you will provide professional Human Resource services to all employees at DRS. The Human Resources Director is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function including: human resources management and benefits administration, direct recruiting and hiring of all employees and ensure an effective orientation and onboarding process. Ensure that DRS is following all employment law and requirements.
Requirements Knowledge —

2. Knowledge of human resource management and supervision.
3. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.

Required education and experience — At least 2-5 years of experience in an office environment where Human Resources is the priority. The following subjects may be particularly helpful:
1. Business administration/business management;
2. Computing and information technology;
3. Human resource management;
4. Management;
5. Public administration
Preferred education and experience —SHRM CP and or HRCI PHR and items as stated above.
Additional eligibility qualifications —
