Position Overview The Human Resources Manager is responsible to manage hands-on the day-to-day company's Human resource functions including performance management, recruiting, safety, administration, training, and the legal and policy aspects of the employee relations program. The HR Manager will oversee the company's overall administrative needs, and implement policies as needed. This position will supervise the office manager and receptionist. Work will be performed under the supervision of the Vice President of Corporate Strategy.
Job Duties Benefit Administration: 
Review, develop, and present employee insurance programs for consideration.  Develop and manage teams to recommend and manage all company benefit programs and handle reporting and disclosure requirements. Manage benefits administration. Manage COBRA administration for terminated employees. Responsible for coordinating FMLA, STD, LTD leave of absences and related. Recruitment/Hiring and Orientation:
 Manage recruiting processes. Liaise with hiring managers for full cycle recruitment activities by monitoring advertisements, screening resumes and managing tasks. Process new hires, including administration of background checks, developing offer letters and lead new employee orientation. Employee Relations:
Review and maintain HR regulatory and legal compliance. Maintain employee handbook on policies and procedures. Manage termination processes. Support management by providing HR advice, counsel, and decisions as related to employee relation issues, as needed.  Employee Development:
Provide assistance in the maintenance of employee position descriptions. Process all new employees and all change-of-status forms. Support manager with employee development, recognition programs, and training, counseling, coaching and company-wide continued education efforts as needed. Responsible for personnel file management including verifying personnel files are up-to-date, and secured as well as ensuring the effective transfer of files and records as needed.  Ensure that the company follows all state and federal employment laws and required reporting.  Responsible for coordinating of approved salary recommendation by Manager. Manage department budget vs. actual cost and provide status report. Provide assistance to Manager as needed.  Other HR Duties:
Support with the coordination of company social events as needed. Perform other HR and special projects as needed. Recommend ideas by identifying and researching HR related issues. SPHR or SHRM-SCP Highly Desired. Any approved candidate will need to agree to a background check and drug screening.
