Job Description and Duties Hybrid Telework Opportunity Under general direction, the Office Technician (General) (OT (G)) is responsible for complex, sensitive/confidential functions in an office work support role for the Human Resources Services Section (HRSS), including Transactions, Classification and Pay, Exams, Worker's Compensation, and Position Control. The OT (G) regularly performs a broad range of the most difficult clerical duties and is expected to consistently exercise a high degree of initiative, independence, and originality in performing assigned tasks. The OT (G) handles detailed and sensitive customer contact, as well as independent origination of correspondence, documents, and reports, involving the knowledge and application of detailed regulations, policies, and procedures.

Working Conditions HCAI offers a hybrid telework schedule with a combination of remote and in-office work schedules for CA residents only. The telework policy is subject to change, and additional in-office days may be required and/or minimal notification may be given to report to the worksite if an urgent need arises. Desirable Qualifications In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
Possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to assess complex matters and be aware of critical issues by developing effective courses of action to solve problems. Experience working in ServiceNow. One year experience working in an HR shop. Experience preparing clear and effective written correspondence. Experience handling confidential or sensitive documents. Ability to develop and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships, as well as interact with individuals at all levels in a professional manner. Ability to work under pressure and establish workload priorities in order to meet critical time frames. Experience handling multiple, competing priorities and deadlines. Dependable, punctual, with an excellent attendance record, as well as the ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing. Knowledgeable of modern office methods and equipment, including experience with personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel).
