What we are looking for… We are searching for a dynamic and energetic HR Coordinator to bring their touch of magic to our team. This role is essential in maintaining the heartbeat of our company. If you are highly motivated, enjoy organization as a pastime, and eager to help anyone you can, then this role is for you! what you will do… HR/Office Support: Manage day-to-day office necessities and queries. Provide administrative support, including filing, scanning, organizing documents. Be the go-to person for employee inquiries. Serve as the trusted liaison between our benefits providers and employees to resolve issues related to benefits. Manage employee expenses and ensure they are accurate and align with company guidelines. Assist with weekly HR reminders and reports. Recruitment Support: Coordinate interviews and assessments, including scheduling, candidate communication, and logistics. Conduct initial screenings of candidates and provide feedback to hiring managers. Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation materials, and training coordination. Create catchy content for social media posts. Special Projects: Collaborate with the HR team on various projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, performance management, and compliance initiatives. Planning and execution of company events and meetings. Contribute ideas and suggestions for improving company processes and practices. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. what you will bring… Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in HR or administrative roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS software. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds as needed and to safely navigate heights, including climbing ladders, as required for job tasks. All day office presence at least three (3) days per week. Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality, integrity and positivity. stand out with… Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is desirable. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus. Additional Notes August Schell is committed to internal pay equity and offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $44,000 to $60,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
