The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for providing HR support to the Manufacturing facility. Coordinator will assist with the implementation of policy, recruitment, orientation and training, payroll, benefits, health and safety and other areas as directed. The Coordinator will be responsible for the accurate and timely performing various clerical, data management and keeping employee information that is relevant to payroll purposes up to date. Responsible for maintaining accurate, up-to-date HR filing systems and personnel records, and drafting reports. Other duties will be assigned as necessary. This position supports the Human Resources Department handling highly confidential and sensitive information. Performs duties such as benefits administration, personnel record-keeping, hourly recruiting, on-boarding, employee training on HR processes and systems.
Strong Customer Service & Employee Engagement including daily walks throughout the facility Hourly Candidate recruiting, staffing assessments and payroll responsibilities Conducts on-boarding process by coordinating with recruitment, preparing offer letters, employment background screening, drug testing, new hire orientation and communication with relevant departments, managers and personnel. Maintains employee files and HRIS assuring accuracy, compliance and confidentiality to include, verification of Eligibility to Work (I-9), required documents, signatures and employee data. Updates and maintains employee files and HRIS regarding pay changes, transfers, promotions and status changes. Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files. Prepares and maintains employee lists, new hire, turnover and other HR/ recruitment/ Op's report data as directed. Examples include: EE visits, hires, terms, rejections, test results, etc. Coordinates the preparation of the review process to include notification to managers and other relevant personnel. Monitors completion and enters data into HR tracking system. Assists department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees (i.e., general human resource, benefit questions, attendance, FMLA, ADA, & WC). Maintain confidential personnel files Support for special projects including research and gathering data on various topics Coordinates procedures and administers various employee benefit programs, such as group insurance, life, medical and dental, disability, 401(k) and other employee welfare benefit plans. Conducts benefit orientations, enrollments, claims processing and updates employee personnel records. Responds to inquiries related to income/employment verification or other benefit related questions on an ongoing basis Performs off-boarding process by coordinating exit interview, termination of benefits, final pay and related personnel file documentation. Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Experience working in an HRIS program such as ADP Ability to appropriately and discreetly handle confidential information Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills is required Independent judgment to plan, prioritize and execute diverse workload Maintain confidentiality Bachelor degree in HR or Associates Degree with previous work related experience in administration would be considered an asset.
