JCPRD is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team! In this role you will provide support for a High Performing Organization through active demonstration of the County's Pillars of Performance, encouraging leadership and empowerment at all levels of the organization; actively mentors, coaches and collaborates with employees to enhance JCPRD's mission and vision while keeping in mind the common goal of leaving our community better than we found it.
Under direct supervision of the Human Resources Manager, assists employees in resolving employee relations concerns which may include meeting with employees, interpreting policy and procedure, investigations, counseling managers and recommending actions to address and resolve employee relation issues. Strategic oversight and management of JCPRD's independent employee benefits program, offering full benefits options and services to eligible employees. Assists the Recruitment Coordinator with recruitment and onboarding facilitations. Serves as back up to Human Resources Manager in the event of absence to support the Human Resources Department. Assists the HR manager with Training/Curriculum Development, covering ACA, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, Worker's Compensation, Wellness, Safety/Risk management, and other HR compliance topics. Responsible for ongoing compliance, tracking, and notifications in all the above-mentioned areas. Performs other related duties as assigned. High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree in the field(s) of study: Human Resources, Business, Communications, or another related field. Minimum 3 years Human Resource Generalist experience including supervision of staff.
