Join our dynamic and growing team in the Jacksonville area as a Human Resources Business Partner! In this pivotal role, you will support our most valuable asset—our employees—by providing strategic and hands-on HR guidance. As a part of our leadership, reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, you will help to cultivate a positive workplace culture, ensure compliance with all legal standards, and balance your contributions between our office and remote work environments. Exceptional candidates who wish to work predominantly remotely will also be considered, with some travel required.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Planning: Craft and deploy HR strategies that align with our business goals. Lead initiatives to boost organizational objectives, employee engagement, and retention.
Talent Acquisition and Retention: Manage the recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent. Develop innovative hiring strategies and competitive compensation and benefits packages that meet market trends.
Performance Management: Establish performance management systems that promote excellence and accountability. Support management by providing tools for employee evaluation, goal setting, and performance enhancement.
Employee Relations: Act as a key advisor and mediator, addressing employee concerns and promoting a workplace culture of trust, respect, and open communication.
Training and Development: Create and implement programs that advance employee skills and support career development, underpinning a culture of continuous learning.
Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain thorough compliance with all employment laws and regulations. Develop HR policies that minimize risk and ensure a safe, healthy work environment.
HR Administration: Oversee HR administrative functions, including benefits administration and HRIS systems management, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all HR transactions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
At least 5 years of progressive experience in HR.
Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices including talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.
Strong project management, organizational, and planning skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective HR strategies.
Proficient in employment law with a track record of ensuring compliance.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with robust problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Must have a driver's license.
Physical Requirements
Capable of prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as necessary.
Travel between local offices required.
