EPIC Early Learning is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our team. EPIC is a private, nonprofit organization that has been dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education to children and families in Central Washington for over 35 years. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of Human Resources and contribute to the success of our organization.
As an HR Intern at EPIC Early Learning, you will work closely with our HR team to gain exposure to various aspects of HR processes and initiatives. You will assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including posting job openings, screening applications, and conducting initial interviews. Additionally, you will assist with HR administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, organizing training materials, and coordinating employee recognition programs.
Responsibilities: File documents in personnel file. Enter training into HR Training tracking sheet. Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information. Assist with career fairs, as needed. General office duties such as transferring terminated employee files to archives, relocating expired recruitment files and shredding documents no longer needed. Requirements High School Diploma/GED Currently attending college with a major or minor in HR, business or related field. Computer proficiency, including knowledge & experience with Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, managers and general public. Excellent oral & written communications skills. Ability to work independently and cooperatively as a member of a team. Ability to organize and prioritize work related tasks. Valid Washington State Driver's license, own transportation and required auto insurance. Pay Level: Minimum Wage (20 hours per week)
