The Humane Society of Missouri has an opportunity for a Human Resources Assistant. The HR Assistant will report to our HR Director and will be involved in all aspects of human resources.
Essential Functions: Answering employee questions and being a friendly resource for employees and supervisors Updating employee and benefits information in ADP Sending monthly raise/review reminders to supervisors Conducting new hire orientations Processing new hire and termination notifications/tasks Processing benefit enrollments monthly Working with our applicant tracking system, and other system administrator functions Auditing monthly benefit invoices for accuracy Helping to plan employee events Running reports in ADP Responding to employment verifications Creating system changes in ADP as needed Maintaining policy and benefit information on our employee intranet page Maintaining personnel files Other clerical duties as needed Qualifications: 1 to 3 years of HR experience, or an HR-related degree with an HR internship or some professional office experience Strong customer service orientation Good with details Great at building relationships Comfortable with new computer applications and love being the resident expert Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge of ADP desired Must love animals and people!
