Responsibilities
• Post job advertisements in LaCareers.• Conduct new hire orientation and ensure all paperwork is complete and accurate.• Process all employee actions in LaGov such as hires, separations, reallocations, promotions, etc.• Monitor training of employees in LMS (SuccessFactors).• Assist with Performance Evaluation System (PES) forms.• Review and submit position descriptions when necessary.• Generate personnel reports, as necessary.• Maintain all Human Resources files (electronic and hard-copy).• Correspond with employees via phone or email to assist with any HR needs.• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
Requirements
• A baccalaureate degree is required.• Candidates without a baccalaureate degree may substitute work experience and college credit.• Applicants must have Civil Service test scores for 8100-Professional Level Examination.
