About the Role: We are looking for an HR Specialist to join our team and monitor all Human Resources functions for our 20+ franchise locations across multiple brands. HR Specialist responsibilities include full cycle recruiting, preparing, and keeping track of new hire paperwork. Meets with new employees to review employment terms and works within multiple systems to manage employee profiles and records. This position would review benefits packages and assist employees as needed with enrollment. To be successful in this role, you should have a working knowledge of labor legislation. Ultimately, you will foster a healthy workplace by ensuring our HR procedures run smoothly.
Responsibilities Prepare and review compensation and benefits packages Communicate with new associates to facilitate smooth onboarding Conduct New Hire Orientations virtually Work with our Insurance Agents to facilitate health and other benefit programs. Inform employees about additional benefits they're eligible for (PTO, 401K, etc.) Update employee records with new hire information and changes in employment status. Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records. Ensures the company complies with changing labor laws Process employees' queries and respond promptly Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation Assist in processing payroll Skills Proven work experience as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems Solid understanding of labor legislation and payroll process Familiarity with full-cycle recruiting Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good problem-solving abilities Team management skills Benefits and Perks: We offer a competitive compensation structure.
