The Human Resource Coordinator is a key member of N.E.W. Community Clinic (NEWCC) responsible for organizational excellence and quality. NEWCC has a unique mission of ensuring access for underserved, under-insured and uninsured patients regardless of the inability to pay. The HR Coordinator role supports and maintains the growing number of HR technologies used by the department, specifically credentialing and privileging. This team member is a key member of the team supporting the ongoing daily people operation systems. The primary function of this role will be to support the broader HR team in terms of updating and maintaining personnel data systems and credentialing and privileging while exploring options for continuous improvement. Essential Job Duties: Prepare, maintain, and update employee data for the HR information system as directed by Human Resources. Supports the leave administration and all processes involved with short-term and long-term disability, as well as FMLA and other leave programs as directed. Reviews and screens initial and reappointment credentialing applications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with federal, state, local regulations, guidelines, policies, and standards. Conducts primary and secondary source verification for credentialing applications according to the policy and compliance standards. Enters and updates provider credentialing data into the application software focusing on accuracy and timeliness of information. Communicates clearly with providers, their liaisons, and leadership as needed to provide timely responses upon request for day-to-day credentialing and privileging issues as they arise. Responsible for credentialing Licensed Independent Practitioners, Other Licensed or Certified Practitioners, and Clinical Staff who are permitted by law to and who would provide direct patient care at NEWCC and any other credentialing needs. Work closely with Revenue Cycle Manager and billing staff to identify and resolve issues that arise with credentialing. Process and maintain periodic reports of employee record data and develop reports, as requested. Assist with recruiting of open positions by posting positions, assisting with interview scheduling, and onboarding as needed. Assists with projects as needed Physical Demands and Work Environment

adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
