About the Position

We are seeking a talented and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team. The HR Business Partner will serve as a trusted partner to business leaders and managers, providing expert guidance and support on a wide range of HR initiatives. This role will collaborate closely with stakeholders to drive employee engagement, performance management, talent development, and other key HR priorities that support the company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Develop strong relationships with business leaders and managers to understand their goals, challenges, and priorities.
Serve as a trusted advisor by providing guidance and support on HR-related matters that impact the business.
Partner with team leaders to identify talent needs and collaborate on tailored strategies to address them.
Provide training and coaching to managers on effective people management techniques and best practices.
Support managers in the execution of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback.
Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations issues, including employee performance, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns and recommend appropriate actions to resolve issues.
Prepare and maintain documentation related to employee relations matters including investigation reports, disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for enhancing organizational effectiveness and team development.
Lead or support initiatives related to organizational design, change management, and culture refinement.
Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and morale.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Handle employee offboarding end-to-end, ensuring smooth transitions for departing employees, conducting exit interviews, managing offboarding paperwork, and facilitating knowledge transfer and asset retrieval processes.
Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations and advise business leaders on compliance matters.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) preferred.
5 or more years of experience in HR, with a focus on HR business partnering or generalist roles.
Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a strategic mindset and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Additional Information

Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Human Resources Business Partner with a salary range of $87,100.00 - $135,600.00 .
