What you will be doing: Creating, Implementing, and monitoring safe working techniques and reinforcing the safety policies, guidelines and procedures, and providing daily guidance and direction in EHS programs.Actively coaches peers and employees on safety behaviors and activities on the shop floor to improve to maintain a goal of zero incidents.Responsible for investigations of possible losses; evaluating the risk in such loss exposure; developing and implementing a plan to correct or prevent a loss and audit the plan to ensure its effectiveness. Focal point for Corporate H&S, Environmental, and Loss Prevention Audits.Reviews incidents to ensure Root Cause Analysis is completed to prevent future accidents and drive corrective actions through health checks.Implements, administrators and advise others on hazard control programs for their respective Plant(s).Lead coordination of inspections by regulatory agencies, ensure deficiencies are minimized and corrected and present findings and corrections to the Plant Manager.Provide internal support for Workers' Compensation cases and adherence to HIPAA's Privacy Rule. Conducts new hire safety on-boarding for new employees, safety training, maintains and creates SOPs, maintains plant records, and maintains training schedules and records.
