Genus PLC has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for an HR Shared Services Lead to join our team. This position is located in our Hendersonville, TN office, and hybrid work is an option. The HR Shared Services Lead has primary accountability for leading a team of Shared Services professionals responsible for the HRIS system data and HR back-end processes. The successful candidate will drive service excellence within the HR Shared Services team, offering a continuous improvement mindset.
• Serve as an escalation point for the Shared Services team and identify the root cause for issues.
• Distribute and balance workload among employees.
• Elevate unresolved employee complaints to the supervisor.
• Collaborate closely with HR business partners, people systems, and other functions to develop and continuously improve processes and programs.
• Proactively identify and troubleshoot problem areas in service delivery processes, recommending effective solutions to enhance overall performance.
• Drive ongoing improvements through standardizing, automating, and consolidating processes in support of HR strategy.
• Review SLAs and provide feedback where they are not being met by HRSS.
• Forge relationships with the business, communicate well and clearly, and take the time to understand user feedback and incorporate it into recommendations and requirements.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and ensure data integrity through process design and data audits.
• Establish and maintain policies and procedures to manage data collection, tracking, and analyzing progress.
• Process starters, leavers, and job changes.
• Assist in developing policies, plans, and procedures.
• Provide oversight of team members, monitoring time and attendance, and performance feedback.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Ensure attention to detail, data quality, and data integrity.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills with a passion for improving user experience.

Basic Qualifications: (required)
• Bachelor's degree in human resources or another business-related field.
• 5+ years of HR Shared Services or HR experience.
• Organized and task-oriented.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Microsoft D365 a plus.
• People leadership experience is a plus.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all management levels and end-user levels.
