Job summary
The Human Resource Representative serves as a point of contact for HR Services.They are responsible for evaluating criminal convictions in the background check process and providing hiring recommendations.They support Ross Stores Inc.'s background check screening process and resolve 'needs review' background checks.

Responsibilities
• Monitor various HR inboxes and respond to inquiries.• Receive and respond to a large volume of incoming calls from associates.• Collect and disseminate information to designated workgroups.• Log all inquiries into a case management system.• Take immediate action for critical cases.• Track and report on workload and customer service requests.• Perform background screening adjudications.• Work directly with the background check vendor to track status and resolve issues.• Enter data accurately in the HR Case Management System.• Interpret and report background check results.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred.• 1-3 years of administrative experience.• Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel).• Clear and effective communication skills (verbal and written).• Attention to detail.• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.• Ability to meet service level expectations.• Ability to apply general rules to specific problems.
