Responsibilities
• Oversee recruitment and onboarding of new hires• Partner with leadership for talent needs and succession planning• Complete 90-day follow-ups with new hires• Prepare reports on HR and payroll metrics• Coordinate regular training and development activities• Assist department leaders in researching training and certifications• Conduct training programs, including supervisor training• Assist with performance management• Represent AMERISAFE internally and externally• Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
• Minimum of a two-year degree in business• Three or more years of HR experience• Effective communication skills• Ability to handle sensitive topics in training• Analytical and critical thinking skills• Strong computer skills• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
