We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Instructional Designer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to the delivery of our organization-wide learning and development initiatives. Your creativity and expertise will be instrumental in crafting engaging and effective programs that empower our talent and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting Needs Analysis & Cultivating SME Partnerships (20%):
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry to tailor relevant learning solutions.
Utilize the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model to design impactful learning experiences.
Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and our facilitation team to pilot, create, and evaluate new programs.
Propose learning strategies aligned with business objectives, fostering positive relationships across teams.
Building Instructional Design Materials Using Adult Learning Theory (65%):
Design and curate high-quality learning projects spanning various healthcare disciplines.
Develop instructional design project plans, ensuring timely delivery and effective implementation.
Utilize curriculum development tools to create e-learning modules, facilitation guides, and other training materials.
Ensure seamless functionality of courseware within our Learning Management System (LMS), conducting rigorous testing.
Continuously improve learning experiences based on user insights and analytics, maintaining a keen focus on accuracy and scalability.
Development Program Enhancements & Performance Measurement (15%):
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in instructional design, proposing enhancements to our curriculum.
Respond promptly to inquiries regarding platform functionality, troubleshooting issues as needed.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement by sharing insights and recommendations with the team.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Adult Education, Instructional Design, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 3 years of instructional design experience in healthcare settings.
Proficiency in eLearning software such as Adobe Captivate or Articulate.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Preferred:
Industry accreditation or Instructional Design Certification.
Minimum 7 years of instructional design experience in healthcare settings.
Experience leading teams in standardized instructional design approaches.
