Brightways Counseling Group is hiring a full time, experienced HR Generalist to support the daily functions of the Human Resource department. This role reports directly to the HR Manager and provides support to the entire company. We are looking for someone who can serve our employees in a professional and compassionate manner.  Our HR Generalist will work primarily remote, with occasional site visits when needed. Priority will go to candidates local to the Central Oregon area. Our Mission
"In everything we do we believe in breaking down barriers and getting help to the community now" Essential Job Duties Support on-boarding functions, including data entry, benefits and payroll. Aid in orientation and training efforts (scheduling, itineraries, supervisor support), new hire setup and communication processes, etc.    Provide cross training for Payroll.   Run Safety Committee and act as Chair of committee, planning meetings and follow up on action items.   Work with systems (SmartSuite) to develop efficient workflows and processes to develop HR functions and assist with other operation needs.   Send communication each pay period to clinicians following SOP on points tracking.   Support benefits enrollment (annual and new hires), maintain information of all benefits and processes, ensure accuracies in deductions, explore other benefits solutions to enhance offerings during open enrollment period.   Maintain and administer NHSC HRSA loan repayment program   Perform routine tasks required to administer human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, payroll; investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.   Support other departments with administrative and people-related needs to ensure consistency and compliance.   Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.   Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.   Adhere to HIPAA privacy standards and regulations.   Support the vision, mission, and values of the organization in all respects.   Provide and maintain a safe environment for co-workers and clients.   Conduct themselves with the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.   Act ethically and appropriately and cooperating fully with all organizational efforts to increase the well-being of our clients and work environment.   Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: Three (3) years' experience in human resources, preferably in a multi-provider practice/hospital/mental health office. Knowledge of Rippling preferred. Knowledge of SmartSuite preferred. Competencies (knowledge, skills, and abilities) Excellent verbal and written communication skills.   Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.   Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills . Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.   Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems.   Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.   Efficiency and time management skills.   Maintain confidentiality requirements.    Ability to deal professionally, courteously, and efficiently. Bilingual and multilingual skills are a plus, Spanish preferred . Knowledge of SmartSuite program or the proven ability to learn systems quickly. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must provide own home office setup (space, desk, chair).   What We Offer Compensation and Benefits: Compensation starts at $26.00 - $30.00 per hour , to start. 4 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year, pro-rated amount based on hire date. 9 paid holidays each year Health Insurance -  Employer contributions towards Medical, dental, prescription, and vision insurance with acupuncture, chiropractic, and orthodontia coverage through Pacific Source (available the 1 st of the month following start date), HDHP w/ HSA option. FSA -Medical and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA). Supplemental Insurance -Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Accident and Hospital Insurance.
