POSITION SUMMARY: Supply Chain Solutions, a division of The Armstrong Company, is growing quickly and looking for a dynamic HR Generalist to join the team. This individual will be supported by an Enterprise HR Team and will contribute to various HR initiatives for Supply Chain, including onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement, compliance, reporting, and procedures. We are looking for top candidates who are highly adaptable, able to deal with ambiguity and customer focused.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Guiding employees and management on company policies and procedures. Managing the full cycle hiring process, including job postings, interviews, offers, pre-placement screening, and electronic onboarding. Maintaining and organizing employee personnel records. Organizing employee engagement activities, company events, and wellness initiatives. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Coordinating and leading supervisor and management training. Processing weekly payroll. Performing other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related fields. 2+ years of hands-on Human Resources experience. Experience with Time & Attendance and HRMS software (UltiPro, Kronos, UKG preferred). Knowledge of state and federal regulations, including EEO, ACA, FMLA, ADA, DOL. Ability to handle and maintain confidential information. Must be customer-focused with exceptional organizational, record-keeping, and multitasking skills. Must possess strong computer skills (Microsoft Office & HRMS). Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
