We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of HR functions, including payroll processing, benefits administration, recruiting, and onboarding. This role is essential in supporting our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes.
What you'll do as an HR Generalist: Handle payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies Collaborate with hiring managers to determine staffing needs Develop and post job descriptions on various job boards and social media platforms Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and manage the candidate selection process Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and other perks Conduct benefits orientations and provide ongoing support to employees regarding benefits questions and claims Liaise with benefits providers to manage enrollments, changes, and terminations Conduct new hire orientations to ensure a smooth transition for new employees Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and issues Assist in resolving employee conflicts and provide guidance on HR-related matters What you'll bring to the HR Generalist role: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role, with a focus on payroll, benefits administration, recruiting, and onboarding Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, or similar) Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus Take the first step on your new career path!
